Statox 501 LC IR and MC IR – Economical infrared technology for measuring flammable gases and CO2
The Statox 501 IR low-cost family is the cost-effective solution when it comes to measuring flammable gases or monitoring the workplace limit value for CO2 – but especially when a heat tint sensor would be out of its depth.
For measurements in the LEL range, away from extreme temperatures, these infrared measuring heads are a real economical alternative to heat tint sensors. Existing gas warning systems can also be upgraded to infrared without great effort, as the sensors can be operated with the same voltage as the heat tint sensors already installed.
Both low-cost models consist of a connection housing in EEx e design and a sensor with integrated electronics.
The LC IR is best suited for Ex measurements, especially for methane. The MC IR is used for all other hydrocarbons.
Both infrared measuring heads are connected directly to the Statox 503 Control Module and are ready for immediate use.
