Honeywell Micro 5 – Measures up to 5 gases simultaneously
The Micro 5 multi-gas detector monitors up to 5 gases simultaneously. A wide range of options allows the user to customise the device exactly to their needs.
In addition to the catalytic sensor for measuring combustible gases, the gas detector offers a wide range of electrochemical sensors for detecting toxic gases and oxygen, as well as an IR sensor for measuring carbon dioxide (%CO2) and PID sensor technology for measuring volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
The sampling pump is very powerful, allowing sample gas to be drawn in from a distance of up to 20 metres. In this way, endangered areas can be measured before being entered.
Micro 5 multi-gas detectors are compatible with the MicroDock II automatic test and calibration station.
Measurement with PID
Micro 5 multi-gas detectors can measure volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in work areas with a photoionisation detector (PID). VOCs are, for example, organic solvents, paint thinners, benzene, butadiene, hexane, toluene and fuels such as petrol, diesel, heating oil, paraffin and jet fuel.
